We were approached by Andy & Ann to provide a quotation for supplying & fitting all the windows and doors for their stunning reverse-living new build project. The stand-out feature of this project was the far-reaching views of the surrounding countrtyside from the first floor, and to provide uninterrupted sightlines we were able to specify two 2.5 metre wide single pane Origin aluminium windows to form the corner of the lounge. Turning in the other direction towards the back garden, the client's brief was to be able to 'bring the outside in', and to this end we recommended Origin bi-fold doors. These are available with ultra-low thresholds, allowing an almost flush transition from the interior floor level to the decking outside.
To compliment the Origin windows and doors, Solidor primary access composite doors were selected. These have superb security credentials, are available in many different designs & colours, and can be specified, as was the case here, with different colours inside & out.
Although both the Origin and Solidor frames are available in many custom colours, in this instance they were specified as RAL 7016, a standard but very popular option that complements the timber cladding very well.
